COURTNEY MOORE (COACH COURTNEY)
Coach
Courtney Moore is a safety-focused gymnastics, tumbling, and competitive cheer coach with seven years of experience guiding athletes from fundamentals to advanced skills, including back tucks. She creates a positive environment that builds strong technique, confidence, and resilience.
She specializes in beginner development through structured progressions, emphasizing body awareness, flexibility, strength, and proper technique. Her coaching includes targeted conditioning for core stability, shoulder strength, hip mobility, and injury prevention.
Courtney teaches key skills such as handstands, cartwheels, round-offs, bridges, kick-overs, and back handsprings, progressing athletes into tumbling sequences up to back tucks. She uses spotting, mat and foam pit progressions, and confidence-building methods tailored to each athlete.
She also incorporates mental training—goal setting, routine preparation, and fear management—along with drills, video analysis, and clear cueing to refine performance. Her approach prioritizes safety, technical excellence, and helping athletes reach their full potential.
